Who are we?
Hifadhi Society Kenya is Non Political and Not for Profit Making society, it was established as a professional society for wardens, scientists and other professionals working in the wildlife sector, with the mandate of advising and assisting its members, the communities living around protected areas, the government and the larger public on wildlife conservation, Environmental, Climate change mitigation initiatiatives and sustainable management. Formation of the society was mooted by a small group of five former KWS officers in the Month of October 2023 and later the team grew to Twenty members culminating into the registration of the society in April, 2024 with the Registrar of societies.
